Great Smart Power Strip and Power Meter depending on what its used for and where...
This is a great Smart Power Strip and Power Meter depending on what its used for and where. What I like:- Very Clean design and color.- Each outlet can be controlled independently- 2x USB ports (sometimes you have items that would take up a whole receptacle just to power a USB device)- Smart Connectivity via App and integration for Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.- Able to set schedules- Connectivity to wireless network- Over the air software updatesWhat I don't like and or what I think should be considered:- Only one Power Meter receptacle the other 2 don't have this function.- This would not be a Power strip that I would use in a Bedroom with the 5 bright LED's (in different colors) - (to the manufacturer/developer... maybe there should be a way via software update to have them turn off after a while or during certain times?- Another thing that I noticed, don't connect this to anything that always needs to stay on. When a power outage occurs it will default to off and you have to manually turn it back on. Not great if you connect your aquarium filter or security camera, baby monitor... you get the point. It would be great if it could retain the last setting when power comes back? Again please something to consider, maybe something that can be updated via ota update?

Solid HomeKit Powerstrip
The Vocolinc PM2E smart power strip is much like the Vocolinc smart outlets, only I see this as a much better solution for many cases than the single outlet. The PM2E allows for you to control three outlets via HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexia, or the Linkwise App. You can turn individual outlets on or off, this allows you to set something like a lamp to turn on or off through automatically through schedules or distance based automation in Homekit. The powerstrip also has 2 USB A ports that you can plug most chargers directly into so you do not have to find a power supply and use up an outlet, though the USB ports do not have smart home controls. I really enjoy the smart powerstrip and I think it is best suited for being next to beds or other low device areas. My only complaints are, lack of outlets, every USB port should have quick charge as well as smart home control if possible, surge protection, and maybe even USB C port versions, lastly the Linkwise App needs a redesign though that is my personal opinion. I think that the app should look more modern and refined. Vocolinc has a lot of potential to takeover the Homekit market and I think they’re going in the right direction.

Awesome device! HomeKit power strip with three individually controlled outlets over WiFi.
I have been wanting a HomeKit power strip for quite some time, and I am glad that I waited until VOCOlinc came out with one. This device was super easy to setup and responds extremely quickly to commands. I have several other VOCOlinc outlets on my HomeKit network including the white Smart Bar , grey Smart Bar and PM1 (discontinued). I have come to really like the way the VOCOlinc devices operate, and this is no exception. The VOCOlinc LinkWise app has some nice features for management, but ultimately after initial setup I use the Apple Home app for all my daily control of this as well as all other VOCOlinc devices. I had ZERO issues adding this device to my HomeKit network. As per usual with 2.4GHz only smart devices, I turned off the 5GHz frequency on my WiFi access points prior to adding this device. Once that was done, I turned 5GHz back on and everything continued working as expected.I was surprised to see that there is only a single control button to turn on/off all the outlets, rather than one per outlet. What this means is that there is no way to select a single outlet to be turned on or off - you either turn them all on, or all off. If one outlet has been turned on from HomeKit or VOCOlinc’s LinkWise app, then pushing the physical button once turns on the other two outlet, and pushing it again turns all three off. I have the power strip hidden behind a couch, this is a non-issue since I do not turn these outlets on/off by physically touching the power strip. There is also a push button which toggles between on and off. That button appears to power down the entire strip, and deactivates the outlets as well as the ability to remotely control them,Pros:-three separately controllable HomeKit outlets built into one device-each outlet can handle 1800 W (15A)-outlets are widely spaced from each other-three USB ports, one of which supports Fast Charging-sleek, clean design-mechanical button to turn off entire power strip-reasonably pricedCons:-physical switch controls all outlets at once-bright (and colored) LED indicators which cannot be turned off-2.4GHz only (not 5GHz) which required me to turn off the 5GHz feature of my router in order to set this up
