I really liked these pants, they were just a bit small and short. I'm going to return them and get the next size larger. I'm 6'1" and I wear 32 x 34 jeans and 34 x 34 dress pants. I purchased size MEDIUM based on the chart that said MEDIUM: 33"-35". This is accurate, however the numbers are based on your REAL measurements, not U.S. jeans or pants sizes. The pants fit me but they were just a bit too tight, especially after washing once. This is because my actual waist, measured with a fabric tape measure, is 36". The inseam on these pants measures only 31.5". That's also a bit short for me. It would be nice if they also listed the inseam measurement for each size.What's interesting about U.S. pants sizes are the inseam is usually accurate but the waist measurement is not. For example, both my jeans and dress pants have a 34" inseam. But like I said, my actual waist measurement is 36". Both my 32" jeans and my 34" dress pants have an actual waist measurement of 36". This is true with multiple brands of jeans and pants. I'm not sure if this is just a marketing thing in the U.S. or what. I just find it odd. I was at first a bit skeptical of these pants for the price, but I ordered them anyway. The style that I got was a dark green, which is made out of a polyester fabric, similar to restaurant quality cloth napkins and table covers. I was completely and pleasantly surprised that these are both well-made clothing quality, and fit exactly as I had hoped. The descriptions of the size are spot-on. I will likely be ordering another pair of these in the cotton material soon. The pockets are of an adequate size, and the size XL that I ordered has a pant length of approximately 32 in.

I ordered these pants for my son for a Halloween party amd i can't believe how great they fit and how amazing the quality is. He said he would wear them all the time because they are really comfortable. Wish you could see all the details in the picture: small buttons in the back for suspenders, also in the front. Two rows of buttons for an authentic look. Very pleased.

These pants were purchased for a theatre costume but they are so well made that our son will wear them off stage as well. A VERY good pair of pants, well made, comfy. LOVE this style! Fit his measurements perfectly (except for length of course, they would need to be hemmed to fit individuals).

Very nice but the waist was too big and we couldn't tighten them enough. These were purchased for our Halloween wedding, my husband's coat covered the back of the pants so the pics look great, however, he spent the evening holding up his pants. If we had more time, we probably could have had them altered. We did measure his waist and thought we had purchased the correct size. I would purchase these pants again but I would go down a size or two because you can only tighten the strap on back so much

These pants fit quite snuggly, even when following the size chart.The worst part was after ONE wear, they ripped! They ripped in an area that shouldn't get stretched too badly when sitting/standing (e.g. didn't rip on the back seam, at the knee, etc), but between the crotch and the pocket. Very disappointing! One wear! :(We later purchased these same Architect Pants one size larger and they are quite baggy- there seems to be no in between: either too tight or too baggy.

I was a tad bit worried when I bought these pants because they were a last minute move for Halloween. The first thing I had noticed was the unique front of the pants. I had to loosen all of the buttons in order to place them on. Once pulled up, they fit really well and I was able to sit and was move around in them . Maybe I can used them again was CoVId is over for a real party.

fit great, and seem a durable cotton twill weave. will require suspenders or they will slouch down over the course of the day. Could use an extra pair of buttons on the front so that the suspenders dont have to "share" the first drop fly button on each side. also mine came with a zipper fly? installed...kinda superflous behind that big drop front... but over all a great pair of fall front trousers!

Great Victorian style trousers, great fitting and great looking.Just a FYI, sizes are as follows......small - 28-30", Medium - 32-34", large - 36-38", xl - 40-42",xxl - 44-46".Remember these are high waisted, so take the measurement just under your belly button! Sizes run very true to this size guide, not Amazon's own

These are brilliant quality. I’ve docked two stars because they’re huge and to return them is going to cost me almost as much as the trousers were. Had I known they were coming from the States I wouldn’t have bought them, but that was my mistake. If you want a really good quality pair of trousers then these are for you

I was concerned that maybe I didn't even need to buy trousers to finish my Victorian look but I eventually gave in - and it was a great decision! Love the look, and it also manages to fit my rather long legs without hassle, even though I have the smallest size for my waist. Fits like a glove and looks pretty sweet. Don't leave it out.

This is the second pair of Architect Pants I've bought, so i guess that says something about how much i like them! The only thing almost stopping me giving 5 stars is that I'd like them to taper a bit more towards the ankles, but i can always get them tailored and at this price i don't feel i can complain.Fantastic service as usual from this company!

Comfortable trousers, suitably old fashioned (bought for a fancy dress wedding!) but there were no buttons on the waistband for suspenders, and no spare ones came with them. Not a problem to sew on a couple of buttons but that lost the product a star or two:-P
