Great camera, but very bright
Bought this to attach to 1 of my adjacent screens rather than try to view presentations on my smaller laptop screen.Good quality pic I think, but the light makes my pic very bright.I think there's an app which allows camera adjustment but the settings my work laptop don't allow 3rd party apps.

Greater than the sum of it's parts
A slick impressive piece of kit this is not. You really know that you are using a budget camera, but then you've just bought a budget camera, so it should be a surprise. It's reasonably priced and solidly performing budget model and for a family camera for the occasional video call, it's perfectly adequate. Would recommend to anyone with similar needs over a more expensive camera, even if the performance is notably worse.

Not bad
This webcam is perfectly serviceable, and good value for the price. Picture quality is decent even in low light conditions.Microphone isn't too bad either, but it will pick up any sound in the room. The auto light adjustment is quite annoying though and my biggest issue with the camera. It makes my background look blindingly white when I'm up close, and there doesn't seem to be a way to toggle it with the logitech camera settings app. A third party app may be able to do the trick though.

Cheap and cheerful
Great for work, awful for personal use.Picture quality is awful but it has plug and play functionality. I'd recommend this as a really cheap webcam for work but nothing else!

Good image & good mic
I purchased this to replace my 15 year old Logitec camera that was still going well but needed somthing to improve the quality of my work calls.I bought a Vitade webcam a few weeks back but it was terrible with poor light settings and the widescreen was too large. So I sent it back and bought this one which was a good choice for a few £'s more.It has worked well on all my meeting platforms including FaceTime, Zoom & Teams but you will want something different if filming video blogs etc.The quality and light is perfect for my needs. There are no in-built functions to change the settings of the picture but you can download an app from Logitech that will allow you to adjust the following:> Standard or widescreen> Anti-flicker from 50hz to 60hz> Brightness> Colour intensity> Contrast> White light balanceThe app is called 'Camper Settings' and can be found on the Logitech C505 webpage. If you need more advanced functions such as zoom or more complex light settings there are apps like iGlasses that you can buy.Pros:- Fits on my monitor and laptop easily- Good quality picture- 702p is more than adequate for video calls (you only need 1080p if you have several people in the room)- Sound is excellent and works across the room- Plug & play- Good warranty from Logitech- Dedicated webpage with manuals, sofware/apps and help guidesCons- Can be a little grainy in low light conditions but this is a massive step up from my old camera

Great with plenty of light
720p is fine for most applications, infact preferable for many situations. The camera itself weighs hardly anything, it's cheaply made and the logo rubs off. The cable is not too bad in length, some might prefer longer. The audio is infact very good, I was surprised, it's clear and has a decent mix of highs and lows. The camera is ok to pretty good in decent light, the colours are fairly accurate and the focal range is perfectly acceptable. But in low light the (obviously small) sensor struggles to produce a reasonable image, colours are washed and the image is smeary and grainy. For Zoom calls and family stuff it's fine, if your looking to stream or produce content this webcam won't be the right choice.
