IMUSA 40qt Aluminum Steamer

What can I say? This is one gigantic pot. I made 6xs a chili crowd pleaser recipe in it serving about 100 cups. It worked great. No complaints.

I don't know why I waited so long! Buying this steamer I'm able to make like a 150 tamales as opposed to 45 tamales with my normal routine. You can easily stack them in the pot close the lid and steam them for an hour and a half and it turns out perfect every single time! Just put enough water in the bottom but make sure it doesn't go past the tray. It lasted the whole time that I use it, I never even needed to add more water. Super great investment especially if you have a large amount of tamales that you need to make.

If you are going to have a tamale making party this is the pot you want! I did not need one that’s big but my son insisted. Now I’m going to have to make at least 80 tamales at a time. This pot is massive and you could do a Cajun boil in it as well. Or lobsters. This is just huge. Definitely will get the job done.

Tenia una de 32 Qt y se le acabo la vida asi que decidi probar esta de 40 Qt. La uso principalmente para cocer tamales y es justo lo que necesito, llego rápido y bien empaquetada, tiene una pequeña abolladura pero es muy poquito asi que para mi no es problema. Recomiendo ampliamente, se que hay mejores pero son muy caras asi que esto me sirve me sirve, es de aluminio y se coce muy rápido la comida; solo recomiendo mucho que no dejen que se les queme y fuego medio ya que este material es delicado.

Nice pot. But steaming tray was put in upside down and wedged to the bottom. It took about an hour bending it with pliers to get it out. I would have returned it but I live in a rural area and it would have been too much of a hassle.

This is very big and hard to fit in your fridge, but if it’s the size you need it is great. Heavy duty quality and does its job.

If you're looking to get into homebrewing 5 gallon batches, this is the literal perfect size. 7-8 gallons of water initially looks like it's going to be a bit much once the grain is added, but I've never had a boil-over in 4 batches now.

Perfect size. Great for crab broils.

I didn’t take any pictures, but the cover was bent a bit and the other part was wedged down in the bottom of the pot. Had to basically destroy it with pliers to remove it. The pot it self is made of a very light aluminum which will dent easily if not taken care of properly.
