Solved a mic boom placement issue perfectly. Seems to be of decent quality.

it's good quality and adds good length to your base clamp, i paired this rod with another rod for the other side that goes to the mic and now I have an epic long mic arm for my battle-station

If your arm is in a spot that covers up a monitor, adding an attachment that gives it a little height might make all of the difference you need. I always had to fight with where my mic arm was and constantly adjusted the mic, but because I use a dual monitor set up, it was always covering up a good portion of my monitor. After adding the extension attachment, the mic arm doesn't cover any of the screens and helps position the mic in the center right in front of me.The only caveat is that I had to remove the plastic bit in the extension to fit the bottom part of the arm in, as it was too tight. Other than that, it works as intended.

I actually got this for a table stand, i needed a little bit of an extension to put the stand behind my bed. This worked perfect!!!

Product appears decent quality but doesn't fit the Rode desk mount when they have what looks like a Rode desk mount in the description.

I wanted to extend the mic to hang over my monitor and this allowed the arm enough reach to do exactly as intended. I’m very impressed with the size and build quality. I was worried it wouldn’t be strong, the original mic support bent when I was adjusting it so I thought this would do the same. Nope, it’s nicely designed and heavy enough to support the mic and its bent stand. Highly recommend if needing to add height to your boom arm.
