The camera itself does the job nicely, the quality is good, but if you're looking for exceptional picture quality then I'd go for something higher than HD.Good Points:- Good folding feature so it packs away nicely with the lens protected- Secure fitting on my laptop- Decent picture qualityA few downsides:- Cable is fairly short at about half a metre or so- It is very zoomed in, I have to push my laptop way back when using the camera so my face doesn't take up the whole of the screen.

So about a month ago my Company sent me a huge 34" widescreen monitor to help me work from home (I'm a Technical Consultant who needs to attend a lot of video calls). The problem was that to use the monitor at its best, I have to keep the laptop it is attached to closed, which means I can't use the laptop's built-in 720p webcam. The Company would not supply me with an external webcam because laptop has one built-in so I decided to bite the bullet and buy myself a cheap one. How lucky I was to find this Logitech C615 on Amazon. Almost £15 cheaper then the lower model C505 while its on the current special offer. Installation? No problem, just plugged it in and Windows 10 recognized it straight away and even had the drivers already installed. Picture quality? Great! at 1080P full-hd it is better than the laptop's internal 720p webcam by a long way. Great auto-focus as well. I wasn't worried about the mono microphone as I use a headset for calls. All-in-all a fantastic buy!!

I purchased this to see if I could get something better than my current 720p webcam. I recently product tested the Logitech Brio and this is really top end and expensive! I wanted something small-ish and convenient that sits on a tablet I have which has a faulty internal webcam. I found this and it's relatively cheap (amazon warehouse price) and seems good on techs.It arrived well packaged and I plugged it in to my Windows 10 tablet and opened the camera app and the quality is really nice. It's not in the same league as the Brio but for the price it's really good. Good balance and there is 1080p quality difference compared to the 720p webcam I had from about 2 years ago.Nice amount of USB cable length to reach any USB on the computer.It folds neatly away to fit in a laptop bag which is nice.Overall a really happy purchase and good quality.

The product itself feels quite sturdy and well built, decent for the price point. That being said, the hinge has just a little too much wiggle room without resistance no matter where it is set - this is mostly okay, but modern screens are quite thin and that milimetre of room where it can wobble can be enough to change the angle, especially as the camera is quite sturdy and weighty.Most importantly though, I think the picture quality is subpar, compared to other cheaper webcams I have. The picture is slightly over exposed, and everything is very orange and overly saturated. I have warm lighting in my house but through this webcam, I look completely orange and it's very unnatural on video calls.The camera angle is quite wide though, which may be better for some people. For context, I had this on top of my monitor and found it was too wide, I looked quite far away. This may be ideal for closer setups such as having this on a laptop if you are sitting close, but less ideal where you will be sitting further away. Cannot fault the camera for this, but I felt I should say to advise on the choice for a similar setup to mine, a more narrow lens may be more ideal.Overall the device works but I was not so impressed with the picture quality, it felt far too saturated and for this price point, I expected better. I am currently using a much cheaper webcam and finding I prefer it in nearly all regards I've mentioned above, which is a shame.
