I'm a beginner, so I honestly don't have a more expensive one to compare this to but it's awesome. I love that it came with everything you need to get started. The skins are a bit trash but I've never been able to find fake skin that acts like real skin. Great value for your money. Sturdy machine. Overall great buy

The kit comes with fake skin, stencil paper, battery pack, tattoo pen, a pack of tattoo, ink caps and assortment of ink colors. Also a box of three round liners and 10 round liners cartridges. Great deal for beginners or some hows done tattoos but is curious 🤔 about wireless tattoo pens 👍😃. I have a foot pedal from an older coil machine the RCA power supply is compatible with the HawInk pen it also has a type-C charge cord for your battery the voltage range from 5-12 so to get a better stippling shade I reverted to the RCA foot pedal power supply I have no complaints it's either this or WormHole pen 🖋️ I already owned a coil machine for 3 yrs I wanted to try something new. It's light you can twist the pen to throw your needle depths.UPDATE!!!The battery only drops to 5.5 I have tattooed several clients and I love it it's a must have

Okay the machine itself is excellent, I have no complaints about it. The inks saturate well, not very runny. You get a proper box of machine bags and I have no complaints about the battery, because we can't want it both ways, there were complaints about the batteries not connecting to the machine properly and being too loose and they tightened the ring, I took a little time figuring out that the connection is supposed to be buried into the machine, and honestly, it didn't hurt anything to learn that.But as for the needle cartridges? I'm an excellent artist, I will not pretend, I have tattooed before and had to stop because of pain in my hand from fighting grips, so when I started with this machine a few days ago, it was horrific, my lines were squiggly like a toddler found a pen and went to work. It was completely shocking to me no lie, no matter what I did, I'd end up with horrible line quality, I couldn't prop the cartridge barrel on my finger to hold my depth, couldn't adjust angles without it overshooting the guard, the machine would immediately stall up because the needles were being "bent" into the guard's sides,And then I got cartridges from a different vendor and the quality is immediately and significantly better. Zero issues and my lines reflect my drawing skill level, and give me the freedom to adjust my grip without interrupting this, or my other machine's ink flow.So before you tell yourself you're an awful tattooist, maybe try other peripherals. It's really more important than you'd ever know. Cartridge quality affects EVERYTHING. You can get away with a less powerful machine, you cannot get away with horrendously built needles.(The yellow skin is from a different kit entirely, and it hates to pickup the ink, whereas the other skins I got love the new cartridges and hawink combo)

The set is very complete and everything you need to get started is included. The machine is easy to hold and use, even with the battery on top which adds a little extra weight to the unit. The machine can also run without the battery by plugging it directly into a tattoo machine power supply (not included) which eliminates the battery weight and can be beneficial for holding and guiding the machine during longer sessions. The starter inks are vibrant colors and the ink cups are nicely sized. A kit that is worth the money.

I ordered this whole kit for $40. Which is an insanely low price. I've been using it for less than a month, and seems to be working perfectly. I would not use the ink that comes with it, but I use cheap ink like this for art projects, watercolor etc. The barrier bags that come in this package do not fit around the diameter of the pen. So, order some other barrier bags. But they fit around with my other pens, so they aren't a complete waste for me. The pen works very well, direct drive Chinese motor. I don't expect it to last years, but at $40 I don't have super high expectations. Battery seems to be working just fine, I've used it for a couple 3-hour tattoos with no problem, after 3 hours still reads that it has a half a charge. The stencil paper seems to be just fine, With all these needles and the charging cables, battery, machine bags.. I can't believe that this whole kid is just $40. I would say five stars for value minus a couple for quality. The machine itself is impressive quality for the price though.
