I used to pop altoids all the time but its tin case was noisy at times and I couldn't fit in my tight pockets sometimes. Plus, the altoids are a bit big to hide. These fresh breath mints are the perfect solution to that. These are TINY and I mean TINY. Like, you would lose them if you don't have a good grip and won't be able to find them if on the ground. The capsules are very discreet. I like that they pack a very powerful punch to them. All you need is on and bam, your mouth is tingling and your breath is ice cold. I like that these capsules are misjudged - it gives it such a fun feeling to see it has the same effect on others. I love the fact that it has 160 capsules; plenty for whenever and wherever you need.

I think that it is crime that the advertising looks like you are getting 4 boxes as shown and it is really 1 that size with 4 tiny ones inside. Way too expensive!

These Japanese cool caps come by way of Belgium and are absolutely different than any mint I've encountered. They're like a tiny clear ball with a red dot, the red representing the strawberry flavor that you taste when you put it in your mouth. Once the little ball pops (if you bite it ) or dissolves then out comes a liquid that tastes strongly of menthol. After that it's just all Hoo! I don't like this flavor at all! For about 5 minutes. This menthol will definitely will put down any bad breath you've got going on and will clear a stuffy head too. I like the concept but I just can't take the collision of flavors and the overall strength of the menthol, which exceeds minty. These are also full of questionable ingredients and a couple of allergens, so read the contents list carefully to see if they're right for you.

The media could not be loaded. I am a bit confused why these are called PaperMints but the CoolCaps makes sense. The set includes 4 small plastic boxes inside of a cardboard box similar to a deck of cards. Each of the containers of mints are quite small and can easily be placed in a pocket or purse. I absolutely love how clever the contraption is that holds the breath mints. You simply tilt the container and slide out the end and it brings out a single one! Now for the mints themselves, they are interesting. They are just a tiny jelly style bead and when you pop it in your mouth it has a subtle strawberry flavor. That jelly outer skin "pops" and leaves behind a small red bead that is very minty. Don't make the mistake to chew on that lol. Just swallow it whole! That provides the breath mint to help with other breath scents that come from inside your gut like when you burp. It provides a bit of cooling in your throat when you swallow it, but really it is pretty cool technology. These are definitely a great option for the fresh breath, but not for those that actually want to suck on a mint.

You get 4 packs of these CoolCaps mints. Each package contains 40 pieces. 160 mints all together. The taste is pretty good. The flavor (and fresh feeling) lasts a long time. I took one 45 minutes ago and I feel like I just put it in my mouth. My only issue is with the packaging. It took me a minute or so to figure out how to get the mints out. Once I did figure it out, the 1st one was a sacrifice. It popped out and fell on my office floor. These mints are very, very small. It's nearly impossible to find it in the rug. But the flavor alone and the amount of time the freshness lasts is worth a 5 in my book!
