What do I love about these USB flash drives?1: The read speed is fantastic!! my 256GB drive was able to be read at over 230+ MB/s2: The design allows them to fit even in recessed USB ports.3: Attaching a Lanyard is super easy!What do I dislike about these USB flash drives?1: Write speeds are a bit slow. Never can write to them faster than about 35 MB/s no matter the source.2: No dust protection.3: Dislike the Bump a bit but it's not a deal breaker for me.Other thoughts: Samsung would have a "God-Tier" with these USB flash drive if they could get the write speeds to match the read speeds! Maybe one day but not with these USB drives.

I purchased this specific model and brand pen drive to replace another brand I have that separates when I attempt to remove it from the USB port it's plugged into. I feel a bit more confident with it when removing it. It looks good, feels sturdy and works just fine.

I am not really experienced with flash drives, but this one is extremely easy to figure out. It is also sleek and will fit in a slot that is further in on a printer, etc. I am very impressed with this little gadget. It holds a lot of files, and I won't need another for a long time. A+ all around!

Quite good, looks very nice, read is around 400 MB/s and write is around 60 MB/s in best case scenarios.the color is pure gray, rather than the gold-ish gray the marketing pictures show.

I'm an IT consultant and keep one of these on my keychain at all times. Got my typical utilities and installers on there, plus has room to make smaller backups of end user data. Metal casing is a must - plastic casings and moving parts (slider-style drives) just break from the abuse of carrying in your pocket. Sandisk had a cruzer titanium long ago, but that disappeared and luckily Samsung came out with this.My first one (128GB BAR) just started to show signs of failing after about 3 years of use. The casing was getting a little bent in spots and it occasionally was difficult to insert in some laptops. The new ones I just got (256GB BAR Plus) are faster and I think the metal casing is just slightly thinner, as they have not been difficult to insert.I have not had any heat issues so far, and I did copy a lot of data to them when I was getting all my stuff transferred from my old one. Maybe a tiny bit warm at the most. Not sure what people did to get them to overheat, but shouldn't have that problem, at least on a newer computer. These are not designed to work from, nor are they designed for frequent writes - if you need a drive that stays plugged up all day and you work from it, that is a different product that costs more. Also, it might tend to get warm if you're using most of the free space. I reformatted mine down to 200GB, so they have some free space for wear leveling.

Love the looks and sturdiness of this drive. Compact with lots of storage. I just bought a second one. It looks indestructible. Made of metal.

Love these to keep all my photos on. No more worry about the cloud disappearing with them !
