Q: Why is it called Carba-Nada when it has so many carbs?

The name of the product Carba-Nada, which translates to Carbs-None is highly misleading. Even though it has far fewer carbs than regular pasta, 24 carbs is not nada! Even when you subtract the fiber, one serving still packs a powerful 17g net carbs. Diabetics can not eat more than 25 net carbs per day and I take it further by strictly limiting my carb intake to 15 net carbs daily, so this pasta is a no-go for me.

Q: Please correct me if I'm wrong... Digestive resistant cornstarch? Meaning, it won't digest and just sit in your stomach?

Well, it won't sit in your stomach... Anything not digested will come out as waste. I did a little reading about it to answer the question and the short answer seems to be that digestive resistant cornstarch will act as some type of fiber, which of course is very beneficial. The warning seemed to be that people with digestive issues such as IBS might find this a difficult food to eat. I struggle with digestion with most pasta, which is why we stopped eating it at my house. But I don't struggle with this pasta, so now we eat spaghetti periodically again.

No, it is not Organic or at least it doesn't say that it is on the packaging.
